(I love doing product reviews. Why? Because so often I feel like the “reviews” I find online are swayed. When I share reviews with you, I want you to know that I will give you the nitty gritty and be 1000% honest. )
Anna at Real Food Bar reached out asking if I would give their plant-based nutrition bars a try. As a busy mom who often needs to throw something (preferably whole food based) in my purse for me/the kids on the go, I said OF COURSE.
// THE GIVEAWAY IS AT THE BOTTOM OF THIS PAGE — BE SURE TO CHECK IT OUT! //
When we received the box in the mail, I was first and foremost impressed by the BEAUTIFUL packaging of these bars. I mean, how lovely are these landscapes?! (PS: my photos don’t do them justice….)

Once I got past the awe of the beach views, I decided to immediately reach for a bar.
The Real Food Bar comes in 3 flavors: Cherry Cashew, Peanut Butter, and Cacao Sea Salt. Each bar contains 15g protein, 10g fiber, 10g sugar, are gluten free, vegetarian (they contain honey which makes them not technically vegan), dairy free, and has 5 superfoods! (Check out their Real Food Base. It’s pretty awesome and something to feel GREAT about.)
Okay….Let’s jump into each flavor….

Cherry Cashew (above)
This was the first one I tried and it was REALLY good. It’s been a while since I’ve had a protein bar so I had to remember what typical consistencies are. I loves the large cherries in this bar and the cashew flavor wasn’t overpowering but complimented the cherry nicely.
Bonus: They ALL contain KALE! Say whhhat?!

Cacao Sea Salt
My absolute favorite! I love anything chocolate and this one was truly perfect. It didn’t give me that “burn” in my throat that many chocolate protein bars give. It was also not super sweet which I loved. It had a slightly bitter chocolate flavor vs a fake chocolate flavor. A+ if you ask me! (I even had one warm, by accident, and it was amazing and the chocolate chips were melty and ooooh soooo goooood.)

Peanut Butter
This one happened to be my least favorite which surprised me. The flavor was great but it was a little more dry than I would have liked…however, that’s probably normal for most peanut butter based protein bars. This bar also didn’t have that weird protein bar flavor which was awesome and definitely made it one I would still grab on-the-go.
OVERALL THOUGHTS: Try them! They really are quite delicious and the price is right!

GIVEAWAY TIME!
This giveaway is not sponsored by Real Food Bar.
Because I ate all the ones they sent me (they are THAT good) I have decided to do a giveaway and one lucky winner will win a variety pack of 6 bars! (two of each flavor)
I would like to try the cherry cashew flavor. They all sound good, but I wish they didn’t have honey because I try to eat vegan as much as possible. I also think they are too expensive for me to buy often.
I agree about the honey. I talked about it with them at Real Food Bar too. Honey is one of those that we no longer buy or eat in it’s raw form but we are a little more lenient about it in store bought or restaurant bought things.
I think it would be great if they offered one with a different type of sweetener and I’ll definitely let them know!
They look great! Thanks for always sharing honestly about new products you find
