How You Make A Chia Egg as a vegan egg replacement

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 Tbsp chia seeds
  • 2.5 Tbsp water

INSTRUCTIONS

  • Add chia seeds to a small bowl and mix with the measured water. Let it sit for 3-5 minutes or until it is a jelly consistency.

Chia eggs are great replacements in baked good (can typically be a 1:1 replacement but that is not always the case) such as muffins, banana breads, cupcakes, etc.
